I had a wonderful day with Chris photographing the autumn colors, both vistas and waterfalls, Chris was an excellent guide and teacher. I don't shoot as often as I would like and hence have to be reminded of certain things. Chris was both knowledgeable and patient. He has a great eye and pointed out several things I would have missed. Book early because they will fill up!

First, my apologies for not posting sooner. I took the full day photography tour with Chris & Bonnie mid May, 2022. I have had my Nikon D3100 with a 28 to 300 mm lens for a long time. I used it primarily to point & shoot using limited automatic features of the camera. Chris was very patient teaching me the broader capabilities of the camera utilizing the manual settings. We additionally compared the photo's taken with the manual settings versus the automatic settings to see the enhancements that could be made. Photo's were taken of waterfalls, vista's & wild flowers along with Blue Ridge Parkway. Bonnie pointed out areas that I would have overlooked & assisted in framing the picture to yield the most interest. It was an enjoyable day stopping at multiple beautiful spots.

Barb, we had such a great time with you on that beautiful day in May! Your enthusiasm to learn more about your camera's technical and creative capabilities made it so easy to share our experience and suggestions. We hope you continue to expand your photography practice, and look forward to seeing you again on future visits!

Off the beaten path waterfalls, a side trip to the historic forestry museum, a lovely sunset and an added treat of migrating monarchs made for a very full but wonderful day.
