This was a great day! Dave our guide was the best. Very knowledgeable about the area and river. He was the lead guide so we did a lot of the rapids first. It was my 2 teenagers and myself and Dave in a raft, due to social distancing. Tunnel chute was the best, we all made it without going into the river. Lunch was great as were the homemade brownies at the end.

What makes H2O stand out is the amazing camaraderie between the guides, how much they love rafting, and their willingness to make everyone’s day as fun as possible. Our guide, Tyler, let us know about every opportunity to stand, ride the bull, surf, swim, jump, play games, and even pull other boat members into the water! We got into a mentality that “if Tyler says we can, we do it.” And it was so much fun!! Also, if you get Blake as your guide, be sure to ask Deborah to sing for you (real talent, trust me). Along the way, Tyler also pointed out historic sites, answered all our questions, talked about the vegetation and wildlife - he was so knowledgeable about the area and it was his expertise and guidance that made the trip so awesome. The river was cold, we were scared, but after going through all the Class 4 rapids and coming out alive, we knew we’d be back next year for another round.

Amazing day with H20 Adventures on the middle fork of the American. All of us loved our guide Dave, the rapids were a blast, lunch was delicious, plenty of time to play in the river. The company was very organized and safe. We are already talking about our next rafting trip with H20 Adventures. (And yep, brownies were such a sweet treat at the end of the trip)!
