As a group of four, we did a full whitewater trip with Cherokee Rafting. Peyton and his wife Christian were our guides and they were wonderful! Peyton was super cautious but also allowed us to have a great time. We totally lucked out on weather, a beautiful 80 degree day with sun (June 2022). A few take always: You can’t take anything on the river so don’t worry about investing in a waterproof bag. Hydrate & sunblock before you go! If you’re scared like I was, rest easy knowing your guide will take care of you. Overall, we would definitely do this again!

Every year, we take a large group (20-35) on the full river trip with Cherokee and we are never disappointed! The price is affordable and the experience is outstanding. The guides are very knowledgeable about the river and we love seeing familiar faces each year. Love what the new owners are doing and we will definitely be back next year! Thank you Cherokee for a fun-filled day.

Their facility and equipment are top notch. Our guide, Travis, was awesome. Took our 12 year-old goddaughter for her first trip. Smiles for days!!!!
