Return to a time when the mob ran Galveston and their guests were treated as if they were family. When you crossed the bridge you enter "The Free State of Galveston," where the only rules were mob rules. The stars of the era were world class entertainers brought in to perform in the casinos, including Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., and Dean Martin. Everyone was enjoying their own "Vegas Dream" right here in Galveston.

Antique Warehouse

Originally the Oleander Hotel in 1913. Listed in the Green Book as safe haven in the Jim Crow south. A place where the African American travelers could stay their journey to Galveston.

History of Galveston was interesting-ghost story stuff-not so much. I think by changing name to Redlight District Historical Tour might help. History was best part of the tour.

We're going to have to make our website clear. The red light district is not a ghost tour. It's a historical survey of the red light district. We hate that people are disappointed. The red light district tour is definitely for history buffs interested in a specific area of Galveston's awesome history

The tour guide Rob was amazing. He was so knowledgeable about Galveston history. I was very happy with the tour. It was shocking at how little I knew about this city. He was very engaging, funny and kept us interested. Thank you for a great tour.

Very little information on the red light district. Information was told to us on other things that had nothing to do with this tour. I had went on this tour many years ago by the author and many of the things and places she showed us was never even discussed. Very disappointed in this tour especially since my friend had never been. She was also very disappointed
