Galveston Red Light District Tour

Overview
Return to a time when the mob ran Galveston and their guests were treated as if they were family. When you crossed the bridge you enter "The Free State of Galveston," where the only rules were mob rules. The stars of the era were world class entertainers brought in to perform in the casinos, including Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., and Dean Martin. Everyone was enjoying their own "Vegas Dream" right here in Galveston.

It would have been helpful to print off photos, instead of looking in her phone. Also, without going into a building or home, it kind of seemed ā€œnot realā€. A little disappointing, just looking at the outside of buildings. The info & history were fun to learn. Tour guide was very animated and fun to be with. This tour would be fantastic just adding a couple visual tools. It would be great if little coffee shop offered small discount or one of the boarding homes let us in the lobby.

I agree with everything you've said. We've tried to make a deal with the coffee house. We've asked permission to go in some of the buildings. But because of insurance regulations they're not having it thank you for taking the time to write

We ā€œWalked The Lineā€ & it was very interesting hearing about the underworld of Galveston!! The tour guide Nikki was the best! Shared a ton of information about the island and vice.

Nikki was friendly and early. My husband and I were the only two on the tour which was special as you donā€™t always hear well with a group. She did say frequently that she needed to learn more. Not sure I learned much new.
