Elijah Mountain Gem Mine and Goat Farm
Mine for gems and fossils along covered outdoor or indoor rushing water flumes. Keep what you find. Explore the property and visit the goats at the goat barn. Visit the aviary to see peacocks, pheasants and more. Explore NC’s largest crystal and fossil store.

Happened upon this little “gem” on Google when trying to find something to do before we ate at Binions. It was so cute and fun! So many things in the gift shop and prices were affordable. The kids loved the obstacle course and we loved the exotic birds and goats. The little creek is so clean and clear. Wish we could have spotted a groundhog in their designated habitat area, but we did see the chickens in the creek! The kids loved the mining and the little miners bucket was plenty for them? They were super excited about the different variety of rocks they got. Will definitely come back!
