Amazing history tour - donā€™t miss it. TC was our guide and he is fantastic. Highly recommend it for several reasons: * itā€™s a great historical tour. If you are looking for ā€œthis is so and so houseā€, this is NOT it. This tour helps you understand how the city came to be, its civil war period, etc. Sure, you can ask him about the buildings too and he certainly know it, but making the history come alive is his goal. * His technology. Aside from the headphones given to everybody, TC had an iPad to be able to share not only photos but music, recordings from excerpts of historical letters, etc. It definitely gets you immersed in the cityā€™s history. * the fact that TC memorized our names and where we were from early in the tour and referred to us by name. That made me feel like I was not one more tourist. Strongly recommend this tour.

Our guide was great. Knowledgeable and patient. Explained many points of interest. Great pace. A great sense of humor.

Our large family group took this tour in the spring. Where to begin? I'll start by saying that this may have been the best walking tour that I've ever experienced, and I've done a fair amount of them. Savannah is a beautiful and historic city, so there's that. Our guide TC elevated the experience to such a great degree through his unique storytelling that it took the tour from a strong A to an A+. The tour had a natural cadence to it as we walked, taking us from engaging accounts of the deep history of Savannah to pop culture, including the filming of Forrest Gump, to the culinary scene in Savannah. Family members of all ages participated in the tour, and everyone agreed that they were engaged the entire time. You are given audio devices so there is never a time during which you struggle to hear what is said, and yet, our guide welcomed questions and maintained a highly personal connection with the group so that you didn't feel like you were listening to a recorded podcast. We felt that we received more than our money's worth in terms of content, and yet the distance we covered was still a manageable walk for everyone. TC's passion for the city was obvious to all. If you are a photographer, definitely bring your camera because you are going to get some great shots. Book this tour if you visit Savannah.
