This tour was the highlight of my stay in Savannah. TC is creative and knowledgeable. He gave everyone earbuds so they could listen to his voice despite city traffic as well as listen to extra material on an iPad presentation throughout the tour. He immediately engaged the entire crowd learning names and where people were from. I think my favorite part is that you could tell it was not just a job. TC and his wife run this company together and they are creative and genuinely seem to want to invest their lives and pass on genuine passion for their city. I love seeing creative lives lived out well and TC and his wife are making a massive go at investing in others and doing a great job at it! Thank you for the fun tour.

In planning our trip to Savannah, we booked two walking tours with Genteel & Bard being our first on 4/3/2018. After reading other reviews about street noise, I wanted to book this tour because of their use of earbuds. Our tour guide, T.C. used an iPad to play audio and show images that helped supplement the beautiful scenery of Savannah. The pace was good and the storytelling was captivating. This tour was amazing and I can't recommend it enough!

I have never written a review on the internet for any company or service before, but I felt that I had to let others know about the integrity of the Genteel and Bard tour company. My wife and I booked a walking tour with them through Viator for April 19, 2018 but unfortunately, had to cancel. We gave Genteel and Bard their required 24 hours advanced notice of the cancellation and they very professionally agreed to refund our payment. Unfortunately, Viator wanted to keep our credit card payment contending it had a 48 hour cancellation requirement. I emailed Genteel and Bard and explained our situation. Even though they would have been within their rights to keep our payment because of Viator's greedy cancellation policy, Genteel and Bard interceded with Viator and arranged for a full refund or our advanced payment. You should know that during the process, I never mentioned anything about a favorable review in exchange for Genteel and Bard's intervention and they never requested a favorable review. They did it because it was the right thing to do. I have to assume that they take the same approach to the tours they provide. We will be visiting Savannah next year about this time and we will definitely be scheduling our tour with Genteel and Bard.
