Savannah is a beautiful, strolling city and we had an amazing time visiting its squares, restaurants and historic homes. But if you want to uncover more of Savannah's colorful history and feel its real presence, you should definitely take Genteel & Bard's Walking and Ghost Tours. T.C. is a consummate storyteller; the details he shares with you shows how much care he has taken to research the city he obviously loves. He provides a professional audio experience so that you can be within 200 feet and still hear him clearly. His Ghost Tours are spooky, perhaps more so because he is telling the stories of the tragic fates of real Savannahians. He enlivens the experience in both tours with music, videos, and voices from the past. I wish all tours could be like this, but it is setting a very high bar!

TC is fabulous. He is passionate about Savannah. He is a great story teller. The multimedia approach with earbuds works very well and enhances the experience. It may sound flashy but itā€™s quite simple, and brilliant. If we get back to Savannah we will take his ghost tour. Thank you TC for making us love Savannah too.

Wonderful walking tour! TC knows his stuff, but doesn't make you feel like he has told each story hundreds of times. He clearly loves Savannah and is a terrific storyteller. We of course had to watch "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" that night and loved knowing so much of the story and seeing places we'd seen on the tour. TC wears a microphone and each guest is given a receiver and earbuds. You can hear him narrating the tour, even if you stop and take photos and aren't right next to him (I think he said the range was 200 ft). He also carries an iPad loaded with historic photos. I am so glad we spent the money and didn't just try to go it on our own. Highly recommend!
