Ghost and Haunt Tour of Gatlinburg

Overview
Walk the back roads of Gatlinburg and learn about its haunted history and folklore on this nighttime tour. With a guide, you'll learn how you, too, can capture paranormal photos. Use ghost-hunting equipment like you see on tv to potentially communicate with ghosts along the way.
The tour is an outdoor walking tour as such there is plenty of room for social distancing and masks are optional, It is wheelchair and stroller accessible and service animals are allowed.
Unfortunately, due to the late completion time, the Trollys don’t run that late but we do offer free parking and of course, taxis and Uber, Lyft are available.
The walk is about one mile all on flat paved ground spread out over 2 hours with lots of stops so a messy relaxing walk but no places to sit or restrooms are available during the tour.
This is not a private tour groups can be as large as the upper 20’s in the busiest times but average in the high teens to low 20’s.

My mom and I traveled from Houston, TX to Gatlinburg via Nashville. We flew into Nashville & then drove the 3 hours to Gatlinburg. In all, we had a 13 hour day before arriving into Gatlinburg. We only had 4 days there, so we wanted to make the most of it...and we did! As soon as we pulled in to town, we drove straight to the tour meeting spot. We were greeted with a wonderful guide and headed out shortly after. The walking tour was the perfect intro to the town. We learned the history and fell in love. We even caught several orbs on our camera. The entire week we kept hearing family names and seeing things that all tied back to the history we learned on that tour. Loved it & will do it again when we return to Gatlinburg!

Our tour guide was Rex and he did a great job. He seemed to really enjoy telling the history of Gatlinburg, On the tour, your guide will walk you through the back streets to various locations and recount several stories about the locations. Some of the stories seemed to go on a little longer than necessary, but overall it was a good trip and there were plenty of opportunities to take photos. The down side is that you don't actually get to go into any of the buildings or houses. And also, make sure you don't go on a day when it has been raining. We didn't get to walk through the cemetery like we were supposed to because it had rained earlier in the day. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in the paranormal.

If you are looking for people to jump out at you or try to scare you this is not the tour for you. This is more of a historical ghost walking tour. The guides take you to several stops to tell you history and stories of the past. Along the way they show you were you might see orbs if you take pictures and why they may occur there. My boyfriend and I were hoping this wouldn't be lame and we were not disappointed. I really enjoyed the history aspect of this tour.
