Ghost and Haunt Tour of Gatlinburg

Overview
Walk the back roads of Gatlinburg and learn about its haunted history and folklore on this nighttime tour. With a guide, you'll learn how you, too, can capture paranormal photos. Use ghost-hunting equipment like you see on tv to potentially communicate with ghosts along the way.
The tour is an outdoor walking tour as such there is plenty of room for social distancing and masks are optional, It is wheelchair and stroller accessible and service animals are allowed.
Unfortunately, due to the late completion time, the Trollys don’t run that late but we do offer free parking and of course, taxis and Uber, Lyft are available.
The walk is about one mile all on flat paved ground spread out over 2 hours with lots of stops so a messy relaxing walk but no places to sit or restrooms are available during the tour.
This is not a private tour groups can be as large as the upper 20’s in the busiest times but average in the high teens to low 20’s.

We found this tour to be boring. As a group, we were instructed to spend the bulk of our time "investigating" at each location we were lead to. The tour group members then spent a good deal of time comparing photos taken at each location while others just stood around. We, personally, did not find this to be entertaining nor was it what we were hoping for from a ghost tour. The ghost tours that we've taken in other destinations have included entertaining, haunting tales by the host with little to no investigating on your own. I also didn't care for walking across individual's graves in the dark. I found that disrespectful and chose to sit most of that part out. If you've been on ghost tours in the past and prefer a tour where you're entertained by haunting tales as you tour the locations with your guide, you may be disappointed by this particular tour... this isn't your usual ghost tour.

I am sorry you feel that way, you get the stories you mention but most people enjoy having the equipment, however, you are not required to use it. It is not an investigation but rather a ghost walk that also let’s people (many of whom have never used this equipment) have the chance to use this type of equipment.

This was an absolutely fantastic tour! We had a 7 year old and an 11 year old with us so the tour is family friendly (just note that some of the stories involve some graphic death descriptions and you might want to assess your child's sensitivity and maturity). We got there 20 minutes before we were departing (5 minutes before the website said to meet) and our tour guide, Sarah, was already there along with most of our group. Our tour guide had a lot of very interesting stories to tell, and let us do our own investigating at every stop with pictures and emf devices. Normally, when i go on a ghost tour, i don't catch anything on camera. This tour, however, i caught several orbs and even a face in a window (at the church in the door to the choir room). It was so cool, and a little scary, but such an awesome experience. We eneed our tour being able to explore the graveyard a little. And that was also an awesome experience, but my husband and i forgot to get our picture in front of the sign to see if Lydia would show up in the picture. Next time we will definitely remember! All in all, this tour is worth your time and money to do, and is a really cool experience for the whole family (assuming your kids really enjoy ghost stuff)
