Ghost and Haunt Tour of Gatlinburg

Overview
Walk the back roads of Gatlinburg and learn about its haunted history and folklore on this nighttime tour. With a guide, you'll learn how you, too, can capture paranormal photos. Use ghost-hunting equipment like you see on tv to potentially communicate with ghosts along the way.
The tour is an outdoor walking tour as such there is plenty of room for social distancing and masks are optional, It is wheelchair and stroller accessible and service animals are allowed.
Unfortunately, due to the late completion time, the Trollys don’t run that late but we do offer free parking and of course, taxis and Uber, Lyft are available.
The walk is about one mile all on flat paved ground spread out over 2 hours with lots of stops so a messy relaxing walk but no places to sit or restrooms are available during the tour.
This is not a private tour groups can be as large as the upper 20’s in the busiest times but average in the high teens to low 20’s.

Pete was great. He made the entire experience interesting. The tour was balanced with history and the hauntings of the town. Pete was incredibly respectful to the dead and their families, which I appreciate. I would definitely do this tour again!

Pete, our guide, was high energy and a good storyteller. No cemeteries on this tour. You get to use some of the equipment - so you get out of the tour what you put into it. Would definitely recommend!

We enjoy taking ghost tours in every city we visit, but this was disappointing. The tour guide was nice, but the tour consisted of visiting several empty parking lots or places where buildings used to be to hear about random crimes, etc. It felt as though there is very little actual haunted history available so random crimes were selected to discuss. The tour was advertised as two hours, and most of the time was spent looking at pictures on a tablet from previous tours or walking around to “investigate” each parking lot on your own. It could have easily been a one hour tour if based on actual content. We’ve enjoyed many ghost tours in other cities and this just did not meet the expectations set by others. A lot of the comments made seemed to be false when actually verifying later. We were told that 7 out of 10 tours actually see bears on this tour through the streets behind downtown. We had no expectations of seeing a bear on a ghost tour , but considering that I didn’t see any reviews mentioning bear encounters, this statement actually caused me to lose credibility in the rest of the stories on the tour. At a 70% chance of a bear encounter I would expect most reviews to mention their experiences. If your are looking for more of an opportunity to use equipment and investigate areas this may be more enjoyable.

I am sorry you were disappointed, first, not sure who told you 7 out of 10 tours see bears, a lot do but we don’t have statistics on that. Nor is it something we dwell on, we do briefly talk about bears as we want people to know how to act if they do see them and not put themselves or others in danger by doing something silly.
