What To Expect

Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop Bar

This is the oldest bar in the country and a Pirates pub. Once the home of the famous pirate and a well known ghost, Jean Lafitte and company. Bloody Mary has dozens of of documentaries and extensive research in her book on this infamous bar. We have been meeting here for decades with hundreds of spirit encounters to share with you with the many spirits waiting within! See the picture of the ghost horse we have in front when you get to our haunted museum stop!

Gallier House

This is a Historic Architects Home in the French quarter now museum used in many films like Interview with a Vampire and recently in American Horror Story season 5: Coven. We were involved with that show- ask us how when you are on tour!

Lalaurie Mansion

Sorry, no tour can actually go inside this haunted private home but it is the most famous haunted house in the south + (My great great great aunt built this is 1831) This is the real Lalaurie mansion, but we also point the fake one used in American Horror story too. You see pictures of inside the house at the Haunted museum stop where we do the ghost hunt a for the finale of this tour!

Old Ursuline Convent Museum

We can't go in the convent at night but can the spirits come out? The oldest structure in New Orleans has its ghosts but the extended property, now built atop, is a virtual hotbed of hauntings in the French Quarter! Many people talk about vampires here but we have actually been inside the attic and know better!

Beauregard-Keyes House

Peer into the haunted gardens to this haunted mansion nicknamed "the Ghost Dormitory. Layers of ghosts remain here, but will they follow us, remains a mystery?

Madame John's Legacy

"Interview with a Vampire" & "12 years a slave" movie site and one of French Quarters top 3 oldest Buildings.The spirits her have been watching us since before the 1788 Great Fire!

New Orleans Historic Voodoo Museum

Storytelling and a historic Voodoo intro at this crossroads near this historic spot where New Orleans Voodoo was honored since 1971. Bloody Mary began her professional Voodoo and Ghost hunting here 25 years ago with this tour of the undead and first Night time cemeteries . She had the Haunted Spirit realm and ghost photo gallery here 1999-2005. at its haunted slave quarters pre-Katrina. We moved the collection and gallery to our own Haunted museum and took many of the spirits with us too!

Rodrigue Studio

The Blue Dog stares at us from this famous French quarter art gallery while the spirit of Julie, the naked ghost walks on the rooftop. Lets see if she comes out to say hello on your night out with us!

St. Louis Cathedral

The Catholic History in New Orleans is overwhelming and the church itself is supported by many a dead body of the rich and holy. The Catholics property spanned from here all the way down Royal Street with some ghostly residents in wait today - like Julie, Marie Laveau, Pere Dagobert and Pere Antoinne...

While in New Orleans we wanted to do a fun ghost tour as our 14-year-old loves spooky stuff! Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable and did a great job of not just sharing the lore - but the truth of what was likely behind the lore. What sets this experience apart was the ghost hunt at the end at Bloody Mary’s haunted museum. People could use their own equipment if they brought any or they could use a variety of materials provided by the tour company. We were able to interact with the “regulars” that hang out in the building. It was very interesting and we would totally do it again!

Our tour guide was awesome. Very informative. We were the only 2 on the tour, so we got very personal attention. The ghost hunting was fun.

We had high hopes for this tour, but it fell short. The walking tour portion was more power walking than it was hearing any haunted history. The paranormal part was thrown at you without any explanation of what you were doing or what different readings meant. Save your money.

I am sorry you feel you missed out on parts of the tour. This is 1/2 walking and 1/2 ghost hunting. We give out hand held equipment and have table top devices set up in museum. The meters readings are to detect a change in the atmosphere they are not numbered readings to explain but triggered more by showing increased lights that could change depending on where you are drawn and energy fluctuations and paranormal activity. Ghosts may or may not pop up and not to everyone at same time. There is a basic explanation at beginning of every ghost hunt on what the equipment is and how to use before we hand it out. Rods, K2, rempods, static meters, boo bear, apps, ovulus etc... Now i do know that a few people go outsise for smoke breaks or texting and recently 1 person missed a whole story and beginning of hunt by texting! ( i am not sure if this was you or not) But We are now informing everyone to keep cell phones at bay- off! and stay with the group so they won't miss anything. We do offer detail stories and history of buildings and experiences at each stop on the outside tour section and usually do not power walk? I will remind our guides to try to pace up with the guests! I am also sorry you feel there was not enough history but we try to keep it balanced with 1/2 supernatural history and 1/2 hands on experience, WE are also the ONLY company in town that lets you go inside a 200 year old haunted building to do a ghost hunt in the dark- psychic, natural or w equipment use. This is also why this tour is suppose to be a sober tour for safety. i am confused becuase i know We do so these things you complain about - histry and equipment use is on every single tour. It seems odd you do not recall the Madame Lalaurie story , history of Jean lafitte the pirate, Julie, executions, plagues of historic times...? I do have those night vision ghost cameras set up for the paranormal, but i do monitor the tours and guests too. I will check more from now on to make sure everything is in compliance on our end. We have done this for decades and with many of the same professional ghost hunters. psychics and expert guides but i will refresh them all to insure a good experience! There is a free musuem tour wih all my tours with a detailed app you are offfered which is a talking book, filled with history and evidence. There is also a geo tour scavenger hunt style you can also do within it. SOme people do not download it or even come to do their free self guided musuem w that app!
