Ghost Stories and True Crime Walking Tour of the French Quarter

Overview
We couldn't decide if we loved ghost stories or true crime stories more, so we decided to do them both!

You can almost feel the history (and the spirits) as you walk through this 300 year old neighborhood and former Native American gathering place on the Mississippi River.

THIS is the sacred ground where centuries of unforgettable, intense characters have lived, loved, fought, celebrated, made music, and taken their last breaths. Energy like that does not fade away; in fact, it intensifies when we tell their stories as we walk through their streets.
We will share with you the stories of hauntings, murders, rituals, restless spirits, mischievous ghosts, and some things we just can't explain. Even skeptics love this tour, because everyone loves a good story!

The tour is 1.5 - 2 hours and covers about a mile in the world-famous French Quarter. Come after dinner and end in time for a night out on the town!

What To Expect
1
French Quarter
There are over 80 square blocks in the old district, and on every one of them there are so many stories of passion, loss, betrayal, yearning, exhilaration, hope, and mourning. Your guide will introduce you to the ghosts, spirits, and criminals in New Orleans' endlessly interesting past.
2
Royal Street
Royal Street, with its quaint architecture, art galleries, and mysterious antique-filled shops, is the perfect place to travel back in time to the days when pirates, wanderers, scandalous ladies, and dark hearts wandered the streets of this old neighborhood. Your guide will tell you the stories whose unforgettable characters may still linger behind the shutters and in the alleys and courtyards.
3
Mississippi River
The river was the gateway to New Orleans, the place where the restless types - artists, writers, immigrants, traders, adventurers - entered the city and thought, "Ahhhh, finally a place where I fit in" The water holds their stories, and your guide can coax them out and reveal the magic soul of New Orleans.
4
Bourbon Street
Some of the spookiest stories and most notorious murders have taken place on world-famous Bourbon Street. Your guide will reveal the spirits and stories hidden among the revelers and characters!

Thank you so much for taking the time to express your praise of Scott’s Ghost and True Crime tour! Questions really do make a wonderful tour, because they shape the tour and engage everyone. We believe that stories are the best way to explain our culture, plus they are more entertaining than a list of facts and dates. I hope that you come back and explore New Orleans with us once again. Joshua was a cool cat. He clearly knew the history, but wasn't overly theatrical. I appreciated that while he touched on voodou, he admitted it wasn't his culture and refused to spread misinformation.
