What To Expect

Gettysburg
Travel back to three horrific days in 1863 that transformed a small idyllic town into a mass graveyard. Our popular “History and Haunts Tour” is family friendly and includes tales of historic and ongoing spectral activity as well as the forgotten history of this “No Mans Land” between the battle lines where civilians quivered in basements while bullets whizzed through their homes for days. Nearly every building still standing on this tour still vibrates from the AFTERMATH.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

It was fun walking about town at night and hearing interesting stories, but it could use a couple more spooky stories. I wanted to be more scared.

It sounds as if you would have preferred our Ghost Hunt Tour with Ghost Hunting Equipment.

While in Gettysburg everyone said to do a ghost tour. It’s very hard to decide which because you can tell paid ads are controlling trip advisor now which is disheartening. We decided on the history and haunts tour. Our tour guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and a good descriptive story teller. We were disappointed to hear very few ghost stories, however. Also, we were not expecting how large of a group they took. There were about 30 In our group so sometimes it was hard to hear. That did seem to be the normal size looking at the other ghost tours we passed along the way, but it was still unexpected for us. We stayed after the tour and the guide told us some great ghost stories in the parking lot! (He said he didn’t tell them during the tour because one other family had small children.). So in short- if you can get a smaller tour without kids, I would recommend it. Our teens still enjoyed the stories, but would have preferred more ghost stories within the history.

It sounds as if you would have preferred our Ghost Hunt Tour with Ghost Hunting Equipment rather than the Family Friendly History and Haunts tour.

Just being with my family and the exercise from the walk! I think guide was knowledgeably and also good at embellishing stories very well
