What To Expect
1
Rhode Island Holocaust Memorial Park
The Rhode Island Holocaust Memorial in Providence, dedicated in 2015, honors the six million Jews and countless other victims who perished during the Holocaust. While the memorial serves as a place of reflection, some visitors have reported eerie encounters, such as shadowy figures and faint whispers, believed by some to be the restless spirits of those who suffered.
2
Providence Athenaeum
The Providence Athenaeum, established in 1836, is one of America's oldest libraries, rich in literary history and known for its stunning architecture. Beyond its scholarly appeal, the library is steeped in eerie tales, with reports of ghostly sightings, particularly of poet Sarah Helen Whitman, and other unexplained phenomena that add to its mysterious charm.
3
Brown University
University Hall at Brown University, built in 1770, is steeped in history, having served as barracks and a hospital during the Revolutionary War. The building is also rumored to be haunted, with reports of ghostly apparitions, unexplained footsteps, and eerie phenomena, particularly involving the spirit of a British soldier.

Tour was less scary tale and more history. Guide was funny and charming, just didn't have many scary tales. Places visited are very atmospheric, though.

No idea what the guides name was as she didn't say! We have done numerous walking tours in many different US States and this was the worst ever ! 1. The guide walked at 100mph, without bothering to check if her guests were keeping up. 2. Any reference or link to ghosts etc. was extremely tentative and all we got was a couple of stories about Edgar Alan Poe and a R.I. poet with a couple of references to buildings where people had died. 3. There was no interaction between the guide and her guests, just a very fast walk up lots of hills.
