What To Expect

Alpine Air Alaska

Your tour starts at our hangar at the Girdwood airport where you will receive a short safety briefing and board the helicopter for your flight to see spectacular glaciers and mountains. We ask all guests to arrive 15 minutes before your tour departure time.

Chugach National Forest

Fly over the glaciers and mountains of Alaska's Chugach range.

Girdwood

We are located in the scenic ski resort town of Girdwood, located about 40 miles south of Anchorage, Alaska. While in Girdwood, check out the great hiking trails and visit the Resort Alyeska after your flight with us!

We had an amazing adventure on the helicopter tour! Seeing blue ice and landing on a glacier was the experience of a lifetime. It was worth every penny!!

Theres not many words I can say to justify the beauty you get to experience when you fly through the moutains of Alaska beside just jawdropping and just plain out gorgeous. This experience is amazing and I loved every second of it. Seeing the glaciers and all their glory and the most beautiful blue glint it's honestly awe inspiring. Plus to add on we got to see a pack of coyotes which is uncommon. All-in-all this is a most do if in Alaska.

John was our wonderful pilot and the Colony Glacier was our amazing playground! Certainly one of the highlights of our Alaskan visit.
