Positives..... Great staff, very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Our guide ā€œScuba Daveā€ was engaging and friendly, you could tell he loves his job. The ride was very peaceful. Negatives..... There is only one really, this is advertised as a HALF DAY excursion, running 4 HRS., when in reality is was not even 2 hrs. We started at 10:45am as stated, and returned back at 12:30pm....1 hr. 45 min. The boat ride was about 1 hr. 20 min.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Please understand that the Middle Fork of the Flathead River is a Wild and Scenic free flowing river so we don't have any control over the flow of the river. In May and early June the snow run off causes these trips to be a faster than normal. After the major snow melt is over June trips are usually around the 2 hour mark and as the river drops towards September trip times can be close to the 4 hours mark. We're glad Dave provided a great trip and we'll certainly pass this along to him but please understand early season trips during runoff may decrease the river time and that is beyond our control. We look forward to seeing you on your next trip and maybe try for an August river trip where the water is lower and crystal clear.

I was scared at first, but in the end it was all worth it, even getting hurricaned by the rapids. Jen was my guide in a raft of 8 and I've never laughed and enjoyed myself so much. Thankful for today, and thankful for getting the montana experience as a Montanan.
