If we only had two to three hours to spend on the water and wanted show our friends or family what it's like to experience the thrill of Class III Colorado whitewater rafting and the beauty of Glenwood Canyon, this would be the trip we'd take them on. And if we only had two hours because everyone had plans after the trip, well, we'd probably cancel them so we could all go rafting.

Our guide was Jamie and this fella was good. From the history lessons to the joke telling and most of all the fantastic river guiding. We saw bald eagles, great blue heron, and most of all had a really fun time splashing through some great waves. This trip would be highly recommended to do sooner than later because the water is running fast. Get up there and have some fun.

Got a great deal on Groupon and glad we did it! Water too high to raft Shoshone Rapids, but we still got some whitewater. Had a 19- and 12-year old in our party, and they both had a great time. Our guide, Ben, was very welcoming and provided entertainment and travel tips throughout. Was a bit of a drive from Breckenridge but well worth it!

I rafted the same stretch of the river a couple years ago with a different outfit. Both times were really fun, but Defiance Rafting provides a much more organized and professional experience. Glenwood Springs is awesome, the river and the canyon views are awesome, and Defiance was awesome. If you're in the area and interested in rafting the river, I highly recommend Defiance. I don't know how our experience could have been better.
