If we only had two to three hours to spend on the water and wanted show our friends or family what it's like to experience the thrill of Class III Colorado whitewater rafting and the beauty of Glenwood Canyon, this would be the trip we'd take them on. And if we only had two hours because everyone had plans after the trip, well, we'd probably cancel them so we could all go rafting.

We had a great experience with Defiance! We had a full day of rafting planned and my 13-year old woke up not feeling well and Defiance was super flexible and arranged for her and I to meet up with the rest of our party in the afternoon. Talley was our guide and she was absolutely fabulous and very knowledgeable!! I cannot recommend them enough for a fun family experience.

This was an amazing experience for first time rafters as young as 8. Both our kids loved it, but were a little susceptible to the cold water even though we are from Maine. Nothing a company can do about that, just be aware if you have people that don’t handle cold well. We were comfortable enough with the safety precautions to relax enough to have fun. Our guide Mike was ridiculously charming and knowledgeable.
