If we only had two to three hours to spend on the water and wanted show our friends or family what it's like to experience the thrill of Class III Colorado whitewater rafting and the beauty of Glenwood Canyon, this would be the trip we'd take them on. And if we only had two hours because everyone had plans after the trip, well, we'd probably cancel them so we could all go rafting.

It's perfect for first-timers, families, and people who like experiencing life rather than Snapchatting it.

Defiance Rafting, specifically our guide, Taylor, were able to make both my husband and I happy by compromising on our trip yesterday, 8/9/2022 - he was able to experience the Class 3 rapids with our group and then I was picked up right at a designated spot after so I only missed 2 of 12 miles! Again, Taylor, is a rock star in our book, she was confident, strong and thoroughly capable of managing the boat and navigating the river in addition to knowing the local history, while being very engaging and amiable with all passengers. We highly recommend Taylor as your next guide down the Colorado River with Defiance Rafting, we had an excellent time!

Great staff! Our guide, Matt was excellent! He seemed to intentionally avoid the cliche raft guide patter, and was very human with us, while being super-knowledgeable and professional. Facilities were very good, and rafts in good shape. A fun day!
