If we only had two to three hours to spend on the water and wanted show our friends or family what it's like to experience the thrill of Class III Colorado whitewater rafting and the beauty of Glenwood Canyon, this would be the trip we'd take them on. And if we only had two hours because everyone had plans after the trip, well, we'd probably cancel them so we could all go rafting.

We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon rafting trip with Defiance Rafting. My husband and I are experienced rafters, and even though the river was not running high, there were still a few rapids that were fun. We enjoyed the relaxing trip. We were picked up and returned to our hotel by a great driver who gave us tips on where to get on the bike path. Jamie was our guide, and he was great! He really didn't need us paddling, but made us feel like we had a part in the journey. Our raft had a family with a small child and every care was taken to make sure that she was safe from beginning to end. Jamie gave us lots of information on flora and fauna, local color and geologic features, as well as answering questions about where to eat in Glenwood Springs. The staff was professional, and I would highly recommend Defiance Rafters for a great time on the river!

The team at Defiance was amazing, Jeremy our guide was fantastic knowledgeable and kind to our 7 year old. The equipment is in great shape, they stress the importance of safety before all trips and the scenery and river were fantastic. Their prices are reasonable and their location is easy to access, right off the No Name exit in Glenwood Canyon

Water level was lower than when we rafted last year, but Tanner, our guide, made the best of it for us with his expert handling of the raft, stories and jokes.
