We made a last minute decision on our way home from our vacation to Utah’s Big 5 to do a rafting trip. We were uneasy about being in a raft with a group of strangers due to COVID-19 so the fact Defiance offered private rafting trip was amazing. I called the day before we wanted a private trip and Heather made it work! The trip itself was awesome, as was our guide, Sasha. Sasha was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed our time on the water with her. I highly recommend Defiance Rafting for a great time! Don’t hesitate, book your trip with them today, you won’t regret it!

Glenwood Canyon is beautiful, and it was great to enjoy it on the river after driving through it many times. Jackie and the other guides were great. The half-day Glenwood Canyon rafting trip starts with the Shoshone Rapids, which are lots of fun, and a good workout. That lasted about 15 mins. However, after that, it is literally just a floating trip. We only paddled briefly twice for the remainder of the trip. While it was still enjoyable, and we got an opportunity to jump in for a quick swim at one point, my gf and I were expecting more than 15 mins of rapids, so it was a bit disappointing. Probably should have asked before booking, but the website description was misleading. Also, it is described as a 3 hour trip but we were only in the water for 2 hours max, so keep that in mind. Overall for the price I think it was worth it, but I would have preferred more adrenaline.
