If we only had two to three hours to spend on the water and wanted show our friends or family what it's like to experience the thrill of Class III Colorado whitewater rafting and the beauty of Glenwood Canyon, this would be the trip we'd take them on. And if we only had two hours because everyone had plans after the trip, well, we'd probably cancel them so we could all go rafting.

Wonderful laid back rafting company with great guides. If you’re looking for excitement I would definitely do the double Shoshone. The Glenwood Canyon half day is great bc you get so much scenery, but if you get bored easily then the scenic part is a little bit lengthy.

The staff at Defiance were fantastic and very enthusiastic. I could tell they have been properly groomed by Glenwood Resort to point out the other places/activities to spend your money on while you are in town and that drew away from the experience. At times I felt as if I was a tourist in my own backyard. The river was running at a safe level and the staff would not allow us to jump into the water or play any boat games such as Rodeo as the previous company, Rock Gardens would. This was disappointing and left the kiddos on our boat a little bored. Overall it was a positive and safe experience, but I’d look for another company that lets you have more fun IN and ON the water.

We had a ton of fun. My favorite part was getting soaked in the beginning. So fun. It was also very relaxing in between the Rapids. Lots of views to enjoy. Definitely recommend.
