If we only had two to three hours to spend on the water and wanted show our friends or family what it's like to experience the thrill of Class III Colorado whitewater rafting and the beauty of Glenwood Canyon, this would be the trip we'd take them on. And if we only had two hours because everyone had plans after the trip, well, we'd probably cancel them so we could all go rafting.

Very relaxing, not huge rapids, maybe 2 or low 3. Made for a very enjoyable and relaxing time on the river.

My only complaint was that I was expecting class 3 to class 4 rapids and we got maybe one class 3 at best. It was not necessarily a thrilling ride, but we still had a great time. Anna, our guide, was fantastic. We had 7 people in our group, so we had our own raft, a little full but still loads of fun. Beautiful scenery. The Bald Eagle family was so cool. The Blue Heron hiding out in the tall grass was pretty cool as well. Great time.

We enjoyed a half-day trip down the Colorado River from Defiance Rafting Co. on Saturday, June 29th. It was my first time doing such an adventure and our raft guide, Scott, helped to make it a great one! He had us doing tricks and kept us in laughs as he guided us. The weather was perfect! I highly recommend this family operated rafting company.
