This is a must-do tour for the young and young at heart! Drive your GoCar to San Diego’s signature sights like Balboa Park, Downtown and the Embarcadero - San Diego's waterfront district. At Balboa Park, marvel at the Spanish Renaissance Architecture or visit one of the many museums. Continue to Downtown San Diego and see the historic Maritime Museum and USS Midway. A GoCar is the most fun way to explore these diverse areas, at your own pace with GPS directions and commentary to keep you entertained along the way!

Little Italy

Start your tour in historic Little Italy, home to the Italian community and see how it has evolved into the modern business and artistic community it is today.

Maritime Museum of San Diego

The Maritime Museum in San Diego is one of the world's top three maritime museums and for good reason! Visit the museum with its variety of exhibits and don't miss the Star of India, built in 1863 and still sailing today!

USS Midway Museum

Drive by the USS Midway on your GoCar Tour. This once active aircraft carrier, now museum is home to over 60 exhibits including the flight deck, galley, engine room and more. The USS Midway was the longest serving aircraft carrier of the 20th century.

Seaport Village

As you head towards the coast, you can't miss Seaport VIllage. This quaint area is home to a variety of shops, restaurants and experiences. Open daily from 10am-9pm (subject to change).

Petco Park

The home of the San Diego Padres is Petco Park! This large sporting venue dominates the bayfront area. Behind-the-scenes tours are available to purchase.

Balboa Park

Drive through Balboa Park, a stunning 1,200 acre park in the middle of San Diego. Featuring many attractions such as the Japanese Friendship Garden & Museum, the Air & Space Museum, The Museum of Art and more!

San Diego Zoo

Drive by the San Diego Zoo, one of the most renowned zoos in the world and is home to over 12,000 rare and endangered animals.

Gaslamp Quarter

Make your way into the Gaslamp Quarter which was once San Diego’s red-light district and see how it has been re-imagined into the social scene it is today

So fun and easy to operate! Loved the commentary as we passed things and easy to follow GPS. We rented 2 cars for our family of 4. Our teen girls just loved this and 2 hours was the perfect amount of time for us to do the scenic coastal route. I didn't expect them to operate and ride on the roads just like any car, but it was really perfect and we got many smiles, thumbs up and honks as we drove by!

It was a lot of fun zipping around town in such a small vehicle. Kind of an adventure, easy to park and get out to take a few pics and that is a VERY big deal in San Diego. I highly recommend it.
