This self-drive tour takes you through the Downtown and Old Town areas of San Diego, but you will also pass through other thriving areas such as Little Italy, The Gaslamp Quarter, Balboa Park, Mission Hills and Presidio Park. Old Town San Diego is where you can see how San Diego looked in the old west where its Spanish and American residents formed a thriving community

Drive by the San Diego Zoo, one of the most renowned zoos in the world and is home to over 12,000 rare and endangered animals.

Presidio Park

Your jump into history will take you past Historic Fort Stockton, into Presidio Park where the old Spanish Mission used to stand.

Awesome experience. We did the 1 hour Go City option but should have planned for more time. It was a great way to see San Diego. The kids loved it. We’ll do it in more cities if they have it.

Great tour! Lots of fun driving the GoCars around downtown San Diego. The company was able to accommodate 23 of us in a group. The staff was very helpful in getting us trained on how to use. Definitely consider this as tour for San Diego!

We arrived in San Diego at 10 AM and wanted to get an overview of the local area so we could decide what to do with a few days that we had. We saw the reviews on Tripadvisor and decided to give it a try. I was a little nervous at first because you drive these on the road with regular cars and they are hand controls versus . However, after giving an overview, Marlon made us feel very comfortable and we began our adventure. It took me a few minutes to get used to it, but very soon I felt comfortable and the directions given by the GPS were excellent. It was a wonderful thing to do on our first day because we were able to get an idea of what we wanted to do with the rest of our time based on seeing a high-level overview of many parts of the city.
