Aside from the early morning, which wasn't ideal for a vacation, the entire day was unreal! Arizona itself is such a beautiful state and the landscape and scenery changed so much on the drive from Phoenix to Grand Canyon. There were so many sights, beginning with the Red Rock, which if you haven't seen it offers just a sneak peak of what's remaining in the tour. The eating experience at Navajo Reservation was great too. The food was great and the people were very friendly. The Grand Canyon itself is rather incredible. And I'll tell you that seeing it for the first time, blew me away. I'll never forget driving around a corner in a road and seeing the immensity of just a part of this wonder through some trees. Beautiful day I will never forget! There were many opportunities to use the restroom and to eat. Our tour guide, Kim, was extremely informative and was very friendly. Should you find yourself in AZ, looking to see the Grand Canyon, I would certainly recommend this tour company. And make sure you ask for Kim!

When I booked this tour, Carol was responsive and was able to answer my questions. However, it was a different experience for the actual tour. Eric was our guide and while he was helpful and nice, I think there's room for improvement. We madr stops at Sedona and Cameron Trading post and 2 lookouts at Grand Canyon for about 10 minutes each and finally the Grand View and spent an hour there. I personally think that we should have spent more time at the Grand Canyon as this is the highlight of the tour. When we stopped at the Cameron Trading, Eric encouraged us to go around while he waited for our food at the table. Another tourist on our group offered to treat him to lunch and instead of just saying no, he mentioned that he gets free lunch for bringing people to the restaurant. We could have spent only 15-20 minutes there and ate lunch at the Grand Canyon instead. Secondly, as we were leaving Grand Canyon for Phoenix, we saw a bus and Eric mentioned that the said bus takes tourists to different view points and it is for free. Had he mentioned this when we arrived, I could have explored other view points. Grand Canyon is an amazing place but sadly the experience could have been better. I went with a different tour company the day prior and it was a great experience.

John is very helpful! He helped me plan the 4-day hiking in grand canyon backpacking. I am definitely coming back to visit grand canyon and do the backpacking.
