Due to the nature of this tour and the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.
Due to comfort and weight / balance of the aircraft, passengers weighing over 300 lbs (136 kg or 21 stone) will be required to purchase an additional seat. This is payable directly to the tour operator on the day of the tour.
The total combined passenger weight (including pilot) cannot exceed 1240lbs (563kg)
There is a maximum capacity of seven (7) people per helicopter, plus your pilot.
Per FAA regulations, all passengers 18 years and older will be required to show photo ID such as a driver's license or passport at the time of check-in.

What To Expect

Lake Mead National Recreation Area

Experience the beauty of the Grand Canyon from the air and ground on this helicopter tour from Las Vegas. After being picked up from your hotel approx 90 minutes prior to the flight time listed, you'll be driven to the heliport where you’ll board your air-conditioned Eco-Star helicopter. On your way to the Grand Canyon’s West Rim, soar over Lake Las Vegas and Lake Mead.

Hoover Dam

As you fly over the Hoover Dam, you'll be left in awe at this particularly spectacular sight from the air, curved between the rock canyon walls. Marvel at this architectural wonder and enjoy the amazing views of the recently built bypass bridge. During your flight, you can listen to a recorded commentary about the Grand Canyon and its surrounds via headphones.

Grand Canyon West

As you reach the Grand Canyon and fly deeper and further into the canyon than any other helicopter tour, land on a private bluff overlooking the flowing Colorado River. From this incredible perch over 3,000 feet below the canyon rim, toast to your experience with a glass of Champagne and a light snack. While you celebrate and relax under an authentic Native American ramada shelter, your pilot will be happy to answer any questions you have about the canyon or your helicopter flight.

The Strip

Back in the helicopter, enjoy another 45-minute flight back to Las Vegas, this time flying over the world famous Strip. When you land, your transportation will be waiting to whisk you back to your hotel. Please note: Per FAA regulations, all passengers 18 years and older will be required to show photo ID such as a driver's license or passport at the time of check-in.

Our trip was fantastic! I've got to admit to being a bit scared before all the flight, but I can't believe how smooth the flight was. Our pilot (can't recall his name) was very knowledgeable, personable, and conscientious. My husband and I had front row seats on the way to the canyon and sat in the back middle seats on the way back to Vegas, but each way we felt we could see well. The pilot switch the seating arrangement to allow everyone to have the best views on the way over or back - a good strategy which everyone in our 3 couple group seemed happy about. Very exciting trip and I highly recommend this for your bucket list.

We had an extraordinary experience. I wanted my kids to see the Grand Canyon and I’m so glad we did it this way! I’d flown with Papillon before but Maverick was much more convenient (helipad right at McCarran) with state of the art copters. Our pilot Travis was incredible - knowledgeable, funny and highly skilled, (and had an awesome playlist for our flight). Everyone was able to have a turn in the front of the helicopter. I just wish we had more time and the landing site. Champagne a nice touch. We flew over the Hoover Dam, flew through a portion of the canyon and landed then flew out of the canyon (which was the best part - just breathtaking and exhilarating) then refueled in the desert, flew over incredible rock formations then the Vegas strip and returned to the terminal. A+++ - it may cost more than other outfits but well worth it for the quality and safety.

We had an awesome experience with Maverick. Trip to the Grand Canyon over the Hoover dam with a champagne breakfast. Our pilot Duain was first class, pointed out all the sights and give us an exceptional morning. Thanks all at Maverick 🚁 👍
