Due to the nature of this tour and the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.
Due to comfort and weight / balance of the aircraft, passengers weighing over 300 lbs (136 kg or 21 stone) will be required to purchase an additional seat. This is payable directly to the tour operator on the day of the tour.
The total combined passenger weight (including pilot) cannot exceed 1240lbs (563kg)
There is a maximum capacity of seven (7) people per helicopter, plus your pilot.

What To Expect

Lake Mead National Recreation Area

Experience the beauty of the Grand Canyon from the air and ground on this helicopter tour from Las Vegas. After being picked up from your hotel approx 90 minutes prior to the flight time listed, you'll be driven to the heliport where you’ll board your air-conditioned Eco-Star helicopter. On your way to the Grand Canyon’s West Rim, soar over Lake Las Vegas and Lake Mead.

Hoover Dam

As you fly over the Hoover Dam, you'll be left in awe at this particularly spectacular sight from the air, curved between the rock canyon walls. Marvel at this architectural wonder and enjoy the amazing views of the recently built bypass bridge. During your flight, you can listen to a recorded commentary about the Grand Canyon and its surrounds via headphones.

Grand Canyon West

As you reach the Grand Canyon and fly deeper and further into the canyon than any other helicopter tour, land on a private bluff overlooking the flowing Colorado River. From this incredible perch over 3,000 feet below the canyon rim, toast to your experience with a glass of Champagne and a light snack. While you celebrate and relax under an authentic Native American ramada shelter, your pilot will be happy to answer any questions you have about the canyon or your helicopter flight.

The Strip

Back in the helicopter, enjoy another 45-minute flight back to Las Vegas, this time flying over the world famous Strip. When you land, your transportation will be waiting to whisk you back to your hotel. Two friends and I took the helicopter trip to the Grand Canyon to celebrate the 70th birthday of one of the friends. It was a much anticipated trip. Unfortunately, when we got to the airport and were being given the preflight instructions by the pilot, another individual who would be on our flight announced that he was gravely ill. The pilot did not question this, but simply allowed him to board the helicopter, where he spent the entire trip with his head in a "barf bag". At the time we had no idea what the problem was, but were informed later by his girlfriend that he had a very bad hangover. She said they called Maverick and attempted to reschedule the trip, but were turned down. Spending the trip with a fellow passenger who is constantly throwing up is not what we had envisioned for this birthday celebration.

Firstly the good points - well organised trip driver was a few minutes late picking us up from hotel and telephoned us to inform us of the slight delay. Staff and our pilot were friendly and informative. And best and the reason for tour the scenery was fantastic good views from all helicopter seats. BUT a champagne picnic landing I don't think so!!!! . We arrived at the west rim with a convoy of 6 other helicopters as we got out one of the pilots was shouting ok 10 minutes then back in helicopter!! Hardly time to soak in the atmosphere or enjoy the so called picnic - that consisted of a dry croissant some dried fruit and nuts and glass of champagne that I literally had to gulp down we didn't have time to eat !!! We just had time to take some pics then whisked off!!. We didn't land on the floor of the canyon but more of a shelf halfway down. I think they should specify that landing time is limited as I expected to stay at least half hour to wander around and sit and enjoy it just so rushed which is a shame as this was one thing on my bucket list. Considering the trip cost us £680 it was disappointing My advice to anyone wanting to see the grand canyon would be to drive to the south rim and stay overnight so you can explore the area.
