Overview

Currently the Park Service is not allowing us to mix groups due to COVID-19 safety procedures, so we are unable to provide this tour for less than 4 people. If you have a smaller group, please reach out to our company directly to discuss other options. By far our most popular hiking tour, this hike and sightseeing tour offers guests varying views of the Canyon, from the inside out. This tour is for guests who want to enjoy an excellent tour of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, but also spend some time below the Rim.

Enjoy a great tour with a knowledgeable, friendly, enthusiastic guide who loves what they do. We provide door-to-door service from your stay place with everything you need to have a great time. Grab your camera and leave the lunch, snacks, beverages, hiking equipment, and driving to us! We pick up in the following towns: Flagstaff, Williams, Tusayan, and Grand Canyon.

What To Expect

Yavapai Point

We start the day with a viewpoint where your guide will give a hiking orientation.

South Kaibab Trail

The hiking portion of this tour will traverse 3/4 of a mile down the South Kaibab to Ooh Aah Point and then go back up the same way you came. Weather and crowd permitting you will enjoy a picnic lunch at the viewpoint. This delicious lunch is made by Brandy's restaurant the morning of your tour. All your gear, such as backpacks and trekking poles is provided.

Grand Canyon South Rim

The rest of the day is spent traveling to various viewpoints along the South Rim in a comfortable air conditioned van or SUV. At each viewpoint we will exit the vehicle and your guide will spend time showing you views through the provided spotting scope and regale you with interpretation that includes information about the plants, animals, peoples, history, and archaeology of the Grand Canyon. The viewpoints included depend on weather, time of year, crowds, and guide preference. They may include, but are not limited to: Mather Point, Grandview Point, Moran Point, Tusayan Ruins, and Desert View Watchtower.

My sister, daughter and I will be talking about our awesome Grand Canyon memories with Andrew and Chris, as our guides, for a long time! Andrew and Chris took great personal care of our needs and personalities! Andrew showed his first hand knowledge and physical experiences of the Grand Canyon. We were so enthusiastic about the many details Andrew shared about the culture and nature of the Canyon. If we didn't see or touch it first hand, a telescope was available for us to witness. Andrew chose to venture and challenge us to rim trails and overlooks which offer some solitude and beauty of the Canyon. Especially when the lunch was set up! Picture perfect view! Our adrenaline was high and our minds were being challenged as we made our way to the Grand View Trails, where some us finally met our match! An unforgettable experience! We highly recommend Andrew and Chris as guides. Thank you guys!

I was apprehensive to take a hike on the Grand Canyon because I am middle-aged and so is my husband. Ivy was a great resource to talk to as my husband and I narrowed down the various tours we could take. We chose the sightseeing and beginning hiker tour. So glad we did!! We had never been to the Grand Canyon before and we let our tour guide Ben know. He had us walk looking down at his shoes on the way to the best view ever. When he told us to open our eyes, we were all amazed. Throughout our sightseeing and hiking tour, Ben answered all of our questions. He used his vast knowledge of the various rock layers and formations to explain what we were seeing on the different levels of the Grand Canyon. Lunch was at Ohh-Ahh point, another great view. The catered food was delicious. He was patient as we made our way back up the trail because we had to take a few breaks to drink water and rest. Ben was on time when picking us up, he had plenty of water and snacks for us, and he was knowledgable about the Canyon. We recommend that you hire All-Star Grand Canyon Tours. We will use them again when we come back.

We had such a great day with Ben the time flew by. His knowledge of the Canyon and how to get the best from the experience was amazing and we had a great lunch too. Finally wine and sunset in a secluded spot - could not be beat! We couldn’t recommend this tour highly enough!
