Grand Canyon Visitor Center

In just 34 minutes of air-conditioned comfort at the National Geographic Visitor Center, you will discover a Grand Canyon that would normally take a lifetime to experience. The Grand Canyon IMAX movie opens with the beginning of man’s fragile kinship with the twisting 277-mile (455-km) Grand Canyon. It then takes you through time, showing you glimpses of human history.

We were terribly excited to see this IMAX movie of the spectacular Grand Canyon. I purchased 4 tickets before we left for our trip. We visited the Canyon before we decided to see the movie at the end of our day. Imagine our surprise when we arrived at the Grand Canyon Visitor Center only to find out it is NOT the one with the IMAX movie. There are apparently 2 Grand Canyon Visitor Centers and the one with the movie is outside of the park in Tusayan AZ. My email confirmation with my tickets says Grand Canyon. Nowhere is TusAlan mentioned. When I called to get a refund on my tickets, there is a recording but no live person to ask. My credit card bill does not list a phone number. We missed the movie and are out the money. THIS IS VERY DECEPTIVE! All they had to do is mention there are 2 and where this one is. I DO NOT RECOMMEND giving them your business.

I am very sorry for the confusion you encounter regarding the location of our Theater. We are located in the village of Tusayan which is directly outside of the Grand Canyon Park Gates. Less then a minute drive to the National Park. You will find our address noted in our listing. Any refunds would need to be requested directly through Viator not our Theater.
