Itā€™s a long ride, but itā€™s well worth it! Grab a morning coffee before getting on the bus as there isnā€™t a coffee stop in the morning. If you donā€™t want baked goods for breakfast, I would pick breakfast up too. The lunch sandwich with chips and a cookie was good. There are several good options at the canyon too. There is wifi on the bus, but itā€™s not consistent. We watched a couple informative documentaries on the way and a movie on the way back. Choose a seat with a good view of the tv. We walked the 45 minute trail along the canyon and it was fantastic! Lots of safe places to take photos, a couple washroom stops, and at least one spot to fill up your water bottle. Wear layers to the canyon as the weather fluctuates a lot. There is a little bit of shade on the canyon trail. The village at the canyon has food stops, good washrooms and many souvenir shops. I would bring hand sanitizer as there arenā€™t many opportunities to wash your hands. A neck pillow for the bus would be handy for the long bus ride! Paul was a great driver. I felt safe and he shared some good information on route.

The day was very long - 6am to 9-11pm. So if you don't have enough time to stay overnight or don't want to drive, this is the best way to visit. The bus driver was initially 20 minutes late as he was given a brand new bus and appoligised often so this was fine. The driver and tour operator were very pleasant. There was a problem with the heating and it couldn't be switched off, however he kept trying to fix it and finially turned it off. The trip was any other bus tour - often stops at gift shops or for food. They provided lots of water and a pastry for breakfast. Lunch was a sandwich, crisps, apple and cookie. We arrived at the grand canyon at 2pm and had 3 hours to walk along a 2.5 mile path which was lovely! The grand canyon was amazing, I just wish we could have stayed longer. The 5.5 hour journey back was okay with films played and a stop at in'n'out burger or chipotle for dinner. Overall, the tour was run smoothly with the little issues resolved and is a good option if you only have a day but I personally wouldn't do a tour like this again as the driving was too long.

I went with this one because of the price, I will tell you the only thing I did not like, and the rest is what I LOVED!!!.. Ok the bus is a bit old school, so there is not much leg room or well room XD.. But other than that.. it was amazing!.. the tour guide Jimmy Vegas, was amazing!!! HE made the tour one to remember. if you are considering it.. DO IT!!!
