An amazing visit. Grand Canyon is indeed a wonder The guide and driver (Kara) were such professionals and accommodating.

This has been the longest day tour I spent but worth the while. Eugene our driver and tour guide at the same time did a great job. Although was a little concern in the beginning during pickup when he only called one family from his list and decided to step back into the bus. He said that was it. I ran and told him this was our bus and when he looked at his list, he actually missed a few name list but he apologized sincerely. Neither he check our confirmation and everyone else’s. I was very careful since I traveled with my senior mom and dad but we have everything we needed. Bus had restroom. Big cooler of bottled water, breakfast pastries & snacks and a satisfying lunch. We have ample stops along the way for picture taking, rest stops, souvenir purchases and snacking. Hoover dam was more than what I expected to see or view. I think the driver went out of his way to let us view the beautiful Lake Mead at the lookout. He was not so strict with the times during stops and give extensions so the ‘would be 15’ hour ended up 17 hour for us. But it is okay. Give us more freedom and less restrictions. Been to few tours in the past which every time is on the dot. Route66 was a nice stop up to the Grand Canyon. We have enough time to explore. It’s just that I got confused with the instructions regarding the option to stay at Mather point for half an hour or walk the 2.5 mile trail or the bus would leave. My parents of course would not walk and afraid that the bus would leave went straight back up to the bus without checking the great view of the Mather point. Angel lodge was a good view . You will not get disappointed. The drive in the way back to Vegas was very long. We stopped at either in and out or chipotle for dinner at Kingman. We were able to eat dinner at the restaurant and never felt rushed. Provided some old movies along the way. We were the last drop off at planet Hollywood. I took the chance to ask the driver if he can drop us off in our hotel across the street. He said no yet he went out of his way to drop us off. We were going to just take a Lyft for a few feet walk but my older parents were so tired, I didn’t want them walk. Only to realized tha our hotel is literally just across the stop light getting out of planet Hollywood’s lower lobby level. I really appreciate him doing it for us. Overall, we had an awesome time!

We had a great time. Jim and Joe made a great team. It was a long day, but we stopped frequently and ate, and went to the restroom. It was very entertaining and educational, at the same time. One more item to cross off my bucket list. Loved it!
