Overview

Take flight and soar over Lake Mead and alongside Hoover Dam en route to the Grand Canyon, where you'll land at a peaceful and secluded airport near Bar 10 Ranch on the canyon's North Rim, a less-visited part of the canyon that provides a unique vantage point of Grand Canyon National Park. Select to upgrade to a fun ATV or 4x4 ride along the rim with multiple stops for photo ops. Only guests of Bar 10 Ranch have access to this area, so you can expect to have exclusive canyon views.

Hotel pick ups are generally 90 to 120 minutes prior to departure time depending on the hotel.

Grand Canyon North Rim

If you selected the ATV option when booking, you'd explore the canyon rim on an all-terrain vehicle, following a guide along a 4x4 trail through Whitmore Canyon and Lake Mead Recreation Area. As you perch 3,000 feet (880 meters) above the Colorado River, admire the sheer drop of the canyon walls and soak up the incredible views. You can also spot the interesting desert vegetation and look for local wildlife. If you did not select the ATV option, you'd enjoy a guided Polaris Ranger tour to the canyon edge that includes multiple stops on the rim for photo ops. Only guests of Bar 10 Ranch have access to this area, so you can expect to have exclusive canyon views.

The trip was amazing - picked up from Caesars right on time. Then we boarded aeroplane for flight to canyon - great views of lake mead and Hoover dam in the way. Joshua was a fantastic guide who met us and took us to Ranch 10 - great ride down to canyon - it was chilly so we were given blankets for ride. We didn’t do the optional ATV which meant we were in the front so got to ask lots of questions, had a fun ride and didn’t get so dusty. The trip to the canyon was great - no one else around and a million miles from the more commercial helicopter rides you see. Got to walk around at the top of the canyon and watch the kayakers then back to the ranch for a lovely lunch (vegetarian v well catered for) before taking the plan ride back to Boulder City. The team were all genuinely friendly and very helpful. Thoroughly recommend !!!

From start to finish all the staff were incredible. The whole tour was so well organised, every last detail thought of,and the staff were amazing. We didn't add the extra ATV tour but we were spoilt by our own private guide and chauffeur and didn't feel like we missed out at all. The views from the plane and the ground were incredible and to be right there experiencing it with just your group and not another soul around was an unforgettable experience! The ranch and food was amazing I could not recommend this tour enough! Thank you so much grand canyon airlines and bar 10 ranch!

The visit and ATV ride were a very fun but dusty adventure to a very scenic spot, with views of the canyon and river that you’ll remember forever. I’m very glad I went. Highly recommended, with the warning that the road is very rough and the ATVs require a firm grip. But don’t let that scare you—if you don’t want to drive one, you can ride with the guide. Just be sure and wear old clothes, folks, and be prepared to be very dusty after. They’ll use air hoses to blow the worst if it off after, and showers are available at the Bar 10 Ranch you start from as well. But this is one trip where getting dirty is part of the fun!
