Your expert guide will meet you at the Pavilion next to the Upper Falls Parking Area at 8AM. This is also the staring point for Uncle Tom's Trail. The hike is a 6-mile loop. The hike is along the Canyon Rim, through the forest out to Ribbon Lake, and then past a geyser basin, Clear Lake, and the Wapiti Meadows with big views of the Hayden Valley. Josh Mahan and Emily Jo are the best guides to visit Yellowstone, Teton and Glacier National Parks. You must choose them, no doubt about it. We had fun and learned a lot about the geology and geography of these regions. My family just loved Josh and Emily. We hope to meet them in other trips!

I just got back from a GREAT trip to Teton, Yellowstone and Glacier with Josh and Emily guiding us. It was a great experience. They are both really nice and very well prepared. They gave us wonderful explanations and told us great stories on the places we went. Super!

We saw and did quite a bit in Yellowstone over four days but nothing came close to our Lamar Valley tour with Jake from Y.H.G... he made it fun and educational and took us off the beaten path for about six miles... saw bison, pronghorn, cranes, had lunch at a spot on the river, visited a defunct hot spring, and didn't see a soul for about four hours. The highlight of our Yellowstone visit without a doubt!
