What To Expect

Las Vegas

You will be picked up at your hotel. Pick up time varies by season. Standard Time: 1:30 (or 4:30) Daylight Saving Time: 2:30 (or 5:30)

Horseshoe Bend

Breathtaking view from the cliffs at Horseshoe Bend After hiking about 1.2km along a sand trail, you can see the Colorado River in a shape of a horseshoe.

Antelope Canyon

Enjoy the smooth curves and beautiful light beams at a magnificent slot canyon.

Grand Canyon National Park

On the way to Grand Canyon, take a lunch in the car. Lunch menu varies by day. World Heritage site of Grand Canyon has a superb view and is visited by many tourists from all over the world.

Seligman

On the way back to Las Vegas, take a short break in Seligman or Williams, a famous little town on Route 66. (Early departure only)

This was the first time my family used Viator. Our 4-person family (2 adults and 2 teenagers) decided to choose a 18-hour private trip hitting Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon, and the Grand Canyon with Rigo as our tour guide. Rigo was very prompt picking us up right on time at our hotel from Mandalay Bay at 4:30a. We were able to sleep a couple hours while on route to Horseshoe. I would very much recommend this trip to any family and we are so glad we did this as a private tour. During the trip we needed to amend the schedule to allow my daughter to do a school conference call and they accommodated for that. I don’t think we would have been able to do that with a big group. In addition, Rigo was very experienced with the route. He had tons of knowledge about the history as well as urban legends for each of the areas we drove through. There are many lookout points for the Grand Canyon and he chose really awesome ones for us to watch the sunset in all its magnificence. He provided us with lunch and waters and continually made sure we were comfortable for the entire trip. We made it back to the hotel at 10:30pm. If you book this tour, ask for Rigo. He’s awesome!

If you want to see major bucket list items - this is the trip for you. We saw Antelope Canyon and lucked out with the best guide! We saw Horseshoe Bend, and Grand Canyon. I wish we had at least driven past Lake Powell - we were so close and did not have enough time. I just wanted to take a quick picture and check it off the bucket list. What was not on my bucket list was Route 66, that was where we stopped for dinner before we headed back. It's a long day but worth doing when you are so close to these amazing places. We actually went in December but I'm just now getting caught up to write my review. We paid extra to have the van to ourselves. Another van was following us and we shared drivers. It's a LONG but worthwhile trip.

The tour agency was very prompt, friendly and informative. They reply fast to emails and also payment transactions. I enjoy communicating with Sophia over the tour package and also any enquiry. One thing I would prefer is the tour can have more stopovers at different location at Grand Canyon site. As it only brought us to 1 spot to take photo while the rest is to just drive past to see.
