Our time was good. I wrote a long review and it erased when I uploaded pic =( Overall glad we went. Bus tour and tour guide GREAT!!!! Train host was good but talked over speaker most of the time there and back which may be the protocol? For me personally was to much, would of liked more relaxing enjoying the views and atmosphere of the vintage car we were in. Entertainment was good, our train was robbed, all in fun and the Sheriff was funny too! Snacks, beverages and lunch also good! Glad we booked this!

This was a really fun time! Itā€™s a great way to experience the Grand Canyon more like the way vacationers saw it a century ago. For vacationers looking to ā€œmaximizeā€ their time at the Grand Canyon, you will likely want to combine this trip with an overnight stay at one of the hotels located directly at the South Rim, as time spent actually touring the rim is a little limited (not SHORT per se, just not as long as it would be through other touring methods); thatā€™s not a shortcoming of the trip, but due to the fact that this tour is all about the entire trip experience from departure to returnā€¦ not just the ā€œtouringā€ part - which can be resolved by an overnight stay at the rim and a return trip the next day. I only did the one-day trip (did not stay overnight)ā€¦ but still loved it! Getting ā€œrobbedā€ by the Cataract Lake gang was a lot of fun! #winkWink

the view by the hotel was beautiful. The staff on train and at the shuttle were wonderful and caring and loaned me a wheel chair after I fell off curb by tour bus.
