Lots of fun! We opted for first class and it was very comfortable. They work hard to provide a great positive experience for all. I didn't feel pressured to tip the musicians (maybe the "robbers"), but they tell you it's completely optional. There were no fake gun shots like some reviews say, so they must have removed that. The train is about 40 MPH and takes just over 2 hours, but it goes by fast as you watch for wildlife and keep busy with the activities. They share interesting facts along the way as well. Much easier than driving!

Traveled with 3 other adults and took the train from Williams into the Grand Canyon. While it was a perfectly fine ride, it took a 1 hour trip and turned it into a 3 hour trip. We were hoping for some beautiful scenery but were quite underwhelmed with the few trees and occasional bush. Families with young children might enjoy the novelty of being on a train, but it really wasn't for adults. There were snacks but they were all open, nothing in packages, and I wouldn't touch anything that isn't packaged! I've worked with enough of the public to know that some people are pretty darn disgusting, and it all just seemed like E.Coli on a plate. We spent a couple of days at the Grand Canyon and actually ended up taking a shuttle back to Williams, so that we could get there in 1 hour instead of taking the 3 hour trip back on the train. It really just wasn't the exciting, scenic ride we were expecting.
