This tour takes place at Grand Canyon National Park, and does not include pick up from Las Vegas (approximately 5 hours away).
If you are checking in at our ofice, we are located at 469 State Route 64 Tusayan AZ 86023, BEFORE you get to the National Park Entrance. We are NOT located in Grand Canyon Village.

What To Expect

Grand Canyon National Park

We will visit 3-4 viewpoints at the Grand Canyon National Park South Rim. At each viewpoint, guests will explore the area, with plenty of time for photos.

We took a bus trip up to the Grand Canyon and paid extra for this tour. We are so glad that we did. The tour was more personal. Kelly, our guide, was great. She was very informative. We were able to go to spots that the bus would not fit. I would recommend this to anyone.

We added this tour as part of our Grand Canyon Airlines tour for an extra $125/adult and $130 for the child (I even asked why it’s more for the child and they said that’s what the company charges) for a total of $380. When I received the email to write a review on this tour and looked on the website, I see it’s $99 for adults and $90 for a child, which means we paid $90 extra for the same thing so that’s a bit disappointing. I wish I had known and would’ve just booked directly with Buck Wild so that is part of the reason I am writing this review so maybe I can save somebody else a little money. Kelly was a great guide and told us about different things that we wouldn’t have otherwise had known - like you can eat pine nuts and prickly pear if you’re stranded in the wild. Also at different view points, she had binoculars for us to see the river or the bridge that the mules cross. She also took pictures for us and showed us where the good spots were for taking them. I think this tour is good for people who don’t have a car or don’t want to do the driving, but it didn’t go anywhere where we couldn’t have gone since we had a car. For me personally, it was a good experience, but I feel it was not a good value for my money.

Well worth the $$. We are so glad we booked this tour of the grand canyon! We were only there for one day and the Buck Wild tour did not disappoint!! Kelly, our tour guide was delightful. She drove us to several lookout spots to see the best vantage points. She gave us a lot of information, took pictures of each person/couple with their cellphones, and even let the group use her binoculars if they wanted to zoom in to see a particular point of interest deep down in the canyon. The vehicle was equipped with blankets for all, although we didn't need them as the vehicle was also heated. Kelly also provided maps and water for all the guests on board and made a point of learning everyone's name and hometown. She took us to all the major points of interest that the tour buses go to and also a few others off the beaten path. In addition, Kelly stopped to point out elk, deer and other wildlife along the trip so we could take pictures and provided interesting information about the wildlife in the park. She also walked us up a small hill to show us and tell us about different native plants and vegetation in the canyon. She was full of interesting facts! Kelly is a great asset to the Buck Wild adventures. We would highly recommend taking this tour, especially if you only have one day yo visit the canyon. Fun and well worth the money!
