It was our first visit to the Grand Canyon and we were only there for one day. The prior evening we checked out two places that give tours in Jeeps or Hummers. We ditched the first place and decided just to go over to the parking lot of Buckwild tours. They were closed but there was a young lady putting stuff away in one of the Hummers and she gave us information along with a discount coupon and offered to bring us in to book the Tour. We told her we would think about it and book online. We ended up booking it that evening and had a 9:15 a.m. tour with the most amazing young lady by the name of Kelly. As soon as we arrived about 20 minutes early she said come on let's go. Since it was chilly and kind of the off-season there were no other guests bookrd. We had her all to ourselves which was just so amazing. The cool black Hummer the Navajo blankets we're the perfect start to our tour. Kelly is so friendly, so bubbly and so full of knowledge about the Grand Canyon. When are Hummer reached our first stop to see the Grand Canyon the expression on our faces just set it all. At every stop on our tour Kelly helped us out of the Hummer brought us to the certain places show me some amazing fossils berries plant life and of course all the history and info about what part of the canyon we were looking at. We had a lot of laughs she was a great photo taker as well. If you ever have the chance to go to the Grand Canyon and would like a guided tour that was not only fun but extremely informational please check out Kelly at Buckwild Hummer Tours we can't thank her enough for a wonderful experience. Thank you Susan and Nick Ruhle.

The staff was friendly and the Hummers are cool but be aware that this is all on public roads, through the same gate and to the same overlook spots you can go in your own car. If you are going into the park on your own, don't spend the money on this extra "tour." You end up wasting time and essentially paying twice to get into the park only to see the same views. If you only have a couple of hours and will not otherwise be paying to get into the park, this is a good option for a quick look at the Canyon.

Thank you for taking time to leave a review. We sincerely apologize that the tour didn't meet your expectations. Our guides are trained to share their vast knowledge of the Grand Canyon and surrounding area while providing a fun and safe ground tour experience. While it is true that the park is available for anyone to enjoy, we must remain on paved roads because off-roading is strictly prohibited within the National Park and we do not advertise as such. We pride our business on showing our customers the best views of the Canyon, expertly navigating the park to avoid crowds during peak times, all while guests enjoy the comfort of our specially-designed Hummer vehicles. We feel badly that this wasn't your experience. Please reach out to our terminal manager Stoney if you'd like to share any specific feedback or if there's anything he can do to assist you. He can be reached by email at [email protected]. It is important for us to hear from our guests as we continually strive to provide the best possible service and tour experience. Respectfully, Marci B. and the Buck Wild management team

Even though we were only able to spend a short amount of time at the Grand Canyon, Buck Wild Tours made our experience great. We are so thankful for the knowledge and passion that Jerry, our tour guide had about his job. He not only gave us the history of this beautiful place, but he taught us about his roots as a member of the Navajo tribe. Thank you so much to all the staff, and we highly recommend the Buck Wild Tours!
