What To Expect

Grand Canyon South Rim

After arriving by bus at the Grand Canyon National Park's South Rim, your tour guide will brief you on the highlights of the Grand Canyon so you can make the most of your time here. You will have three (3) hours of free time to explore this wonder of the world at your own pace. Your deli-style lunch can be taken with you to enjoy at one of the lookout points.

I thought the tour itself was okay. Our tour guide was not Wally, the one people on Trip Advisor were raving about. She didn't seem very enthusiastic or especially knowledgeable. Also didn't do a great job of getting people back onto the bus in a timely manner. The real problem is that we were charged about $110 per ticket on Trip Advisor. People were paying for tickets on the bus that picked us up and only paying about $70 per ticket. We booked about two days in advance, so it's pretty ridiculous that the discrepancy would be this big. I doubt I'll ever take another tour with SWEETours or book anything with Trip Advisor again.

Hi John: Sorry that it wasn't Wally on the day of your traveled. I would like to explain that when people paid us $70.00 on the bus was because they had to pay a deposit before they come. Depending on where they booked the tour. With the deposit they paid, 99% of the time is non-refund able depending on the situation. The price you paid to Trip Advisor is one of the best rate you can get out there.

The day was amazing including the unexpected snow. We were looked after by our amazing driver, Walley who looked after our every need. He was very knowledgeable and looked after us on a very difficult day weather wise. He ensured that we had the best possible views. Sweetours provided a comfortable coach, good food and Walley. Would highly recommended this company

We just got back from going to the Grand Canyon and it was amazing! Our tour guild, Walley, was fantastic. He was so knowledgeable and we learned so much! The tour bus was clean and so was the bathroom. We worth the all day trip. Plus it’s at a fantastic price for what you get.
