What To Expect

Grand Canyon South Rim

After arriving by bus at the Grand Canyon National Park's South Rim, your tour guide will brief you on the highlights of the Grand Canyon so you can make the most of your time here. You will have three (3) hours of free time to explore this wonder of the world at your own pace. Your deli-style lunch can be taken with you to enjoy at one of the lookout points.

It was a long but a great tour to south rim. The pickup to main coach parking was early morning 6:45 so be sure to have a light breakfast. While boarding you are served with breakfast - A fruit , some cookies water and juice for late risers - This for sure is filling. The coach though comfortable was seen leaking at some seats for overhead AC ducts. Walley the tour guide I must say is excellent when it comes to narration of the tour, he was very clear in his description and was very welcoming at the start and very courteous while dropping us off. Walley helped us at every point suggesting how fast and how to cover things at canyon and the stops en-route. I must say he’s a good time keeper. All in all a good experience with good amount of stops in long 11 hour route with some good fun with movies on Hoover dam route 66 and Hollywood flicks having Vegas in backdrop.

We were somewhat disappointed with our tour. The guide spoke extremely fast which meant that only half of what she said was understood. While we were waiting to be collected for the tour, a guide from another company laughed and told us that we might be home by midnight. The bus had known electrical problems and we ended up being stranded at the Canyon waiting for it to be repaired. A very kind operator from another company allowed us (free if charge) to return to Las Vegas with his group. It sounds as if this company is reknowned for problems.

Really great job in arranging the tour.. our tour guide/driver wally was amazing and and very informative about the places we visited. The stop at Hoover dam and Route 66 was amazing. That is guys.
