This is advertised as a 15 tour and it is. And although the bus ride was long, there were stops along the way - Hoover Dam and Historic Route 66 - so even if you aren't into those things, its a good chance to stretch your legs and grab a drink/snack. We had seen these sites so it wasn't a big deal for us. But folks on the tour from other parts of the country and other countries seemed to enjoy it and were taking lots of photos. Wally was a great driver and provided a fact-fill narration about the areas we were passing through. At the Grand Canyon, he also gave good advice on the best way to utilize the time available so you could enjoy the views and not be rushed to get back to the bus. Pick up in the morning and drop off after the tour went smoothly. Like I said, it was a long trip, but IMO it beat renting a car and driving if for no other reason than I didn't have to worry about the drive back to Vegas when we were done.

This was a great tour. Wally our driver gave us all the history on the way to Hoover Dam. It was a quick stop but we got to take pictures. We then drove to Arizonia and made another stop for gas. There was a Subway and an opportunity for bathroom and food purchases. We also stopped at a Route 66 stop later. There were trinkets and another opportunity for a restroom stop. This stop was kind of hoaky and unnecessary. The trinkets were overpriced but I got some anyway. Once we got to the Grand Canyin we had 3 hours to explore on our own. I chose the Rim Walk and took another Bus to Mather Point to begin my trek. It took about 2 hours for the trolley to Mather Point and the walk. Beautiful. The stores were crowded and there were lines but it was worth it. I had about an hour to shop at the Village before boarding the bus to return to Vegas. We only made one stop on the way back and it was for a bathroom break and food and that same 1st convenience store we went to in the morning. We were provided a breakfast which included a banana and snack bar.. The lunch was a sandwich with chips, cookies, and an apple. The sandwich was fresh. We watched movies on the return trip and informative documentaries on Hoover Dam, Route 66, and the Grand Canyon on the way up. It is a long tour as they have to arrange pick ups and drop offs at all the hotels. We were lucky as we had considerate tourists who were on time. It would have saved time if we were dropped off at Mather Point so we didnt have to ride the park shuttle there as this took 30 minutes. However, some people just stayed in the Village. Still, well worth the money.

I did my tour with Wally to the Grand Canyon and it is defenetly worth a visit from Las Vegas. The pick up and drop off directly at the hotel is very convenient + you will get some breakfast and lunch. Vegetarian option is possible. The drive is very long so is the only drawback of all of it but nothing you can do about that other than driving yourself from a closer hotel.
