Journey to one of the Seven Wonders of the World on this day tour from Las Vegas. After hotel pick-up from most hotels on the Strip, you'll head out to the beautiful South Rim for 3 hours. Your guide will provide you with some suggested itineraries to help maximize your time here. Tour operates on Mondays and Wednesdays only.

What To Expect

Grand Canyon South Rim

After arriving by bus at the Grand Canyon National Park's South Rim, your tour guide will brief you on the highlights of the Grand Canyon so you can make the most of your time here. You will have three (3) hours of free time to explore this wonder of the world at your own pace. Your deli-style lunch can be taken with you to enjoy at one of the lookout points.

I came to Vegas for a few days and not being a gambler or a partier I knew 100% I was going to see the Grand Canyon. I happened to have enough points on my travel rewards card that I was able to cover the entire trip that was offered. I knew nothing of Sweetours other than what I read on my travel rewards site, the description sounded great and it was always reasonably priced even if I didn't have the points to cover the full thing. I was impressed with them right at the very start when I sen them my confirmation email. They immediately responded confirming my pick up time at my hotel and then gave me my options for the breakfast and lunch that are included in the cost of your tip (along with all the water you can drink). For myself I have allergies and I follow a vegan diet so I responded back with my lunch choice (there was a vegan option) and said that I wasn't able to have the breakfast due to allergies and my vegan diet but I'd bring my own bars so there wasn't food waste. They immediately said sent me what was in their vegan diet which included a banana which I'm allergic too and when they found out they were no problem will include an extra apple or orange. So I was very impressed as someone who typically ends up supplying their own food on trips like this. The bus picked me up on time and they were incredibly well organized. Our guide Art filled the trip with facts about Hoover Dam, Route 66 and the Grand Canyon. Art also made sure that at each stop we knew how long we were going to be there, reminded us of our bus number and gave us proper instruction (walk with the canyon on your right). Jackie our bus driver was funny and did an excellent job driving and helping everyone out making sure we all had easy access to where the bottled water was kept at every stop. Both Art & Jackie interacted with every person on the bus. It was a beautiful day filled with blue skies and warm temps. I would recommend this tour with this tour group to everyone!

Everything of the tour was as expected: light breakfast, lunch box were good and South Rim was amazing, bus driver/guide very nice. The problem: not for tall persons. The coach had 60 seats which had no leg room. Close to 10 hours in the bus was very hard when you have less room than in an airplane. That was our only bad point this is why we gave a 3, otherwise it would have been a 5. South rim much nicer than West rim but longer drive. Worth it anyways.
