My wife and I booked the Full-Day Grand Canyon South Rim Bus Tour online thru Expedia, com prior to our arrival to Las Vegas. The day of May 6th, 2018 Everything was going as planned. Pickup at Hotel was on time and bus driver was engaging and funny. After picking up at a few more Hotels we all were shuttled to a store parking lot and made to switch buses. That is were drivers were changed unfortunately. No disrespect to veterans or former military but speaking to customers in threatening manor such as "leaving you behind if your not back to the bus in time" is not good tour guide relations. Reading the ad info stated a stop at the Hoover Dam as follows -"Stop to snap photos at the historic Hoover Dam, a Great Depression Era-project that drew families west to transform the Colorado River into a hydroelectric power source." which also was a major bonus for booking this tour. Upon arrival we stopped at a security check point "Understandable & Definitely required in these days" but the key for a storage compartment that needed to be inspected could not be found on the bus thus entrance to Hoover Dam would not be allowed. Redirect to Lake Meade viewing point with no view of the Dam! Good thing was a few customers that missed the bus in Las Vegas were able to get dropped off there to join the tour. A replacement tour to the Hoover Dam was offered to all the tour customer but we were unable to take advantage because flying out early the next morning. Upon returning home I wanted to express my displeasure about the Hoover Dam security denial. I spoke with a Customer Service Supervisor at SWEETours and she told me that it was just a 10 minute stop that they didn't even have to supply as part of the Grand Canyon tour but they offered a replacement tour the next day valued at $75 a person. I told her it was mentioned as part of the tour ad and I was flying out the next morning. She offered me a $5 refund and was extremely rude doing so! I told her I would be writing a review to inform potential customers of the unprofessional customer care and tour service! She said and she will respond rudely! By the way the Grand Canyon views were spectacular! Recommend getting a rental car to make the trip yourself with out the lack of courteous professionalism and unrestricted rushed time schedules backed by threats to leave you behind!

This is a must-do tour while in Las Vegas. Our guide Wally is a treasure of information. He knows his stuff and is very helpful and accommodating. He's an excellent driver as well. Be prepared for all sorts of weather - we got snow up there. It was beautiful. Highly recommended.

This is a mixed review. The tour started well, we knew it would be a long drive. More time at Seligman would have been nice. It was rushed and shouldn't have been since we did not stop at Kingman. The walking trail was amazing and very happy with the time we had. What was not good was driving back and literally being dumped at the curb where we had to walk on the curb to get to a place to get to the side walk. Guests from 3 hotels Paris, Ballys and Planet Hollywood in front of the Miracle Mile shopping center on the curb. It was obvious as we stopped at drop offs before ours he just wanted to get everyone off the bus.
