Journey to one of the Seven Wonders of the World on this day tour from Las Vegas. After hotel pick-up from most hotels on the Strip, you'll head out to the beautiful South Rim for 3 hours. Your guide will provide you with some suggested itineraries to help maximize your time here. Tour operates on Mondays and Wednesdays only.

What To Expect

Grand Canyon South Rim

After arriving by bus at the Grand Canyon National Park's South Rim, your tour guide will brief you on the highlights of the Grand Canyon so you can make the most of your time here. You will have three (3) hours of free time to explore this wonder of the world at your own pace. Your deli-style lunch can be taken with you to enjoy at one of the lookout points.

This is a destination that if given the opportunity, everyone should see for themselves because someone else's descriptions does not do justice to the majestic wonder at the Canyon. The bus ride was long, yet comfortable with breakfast and lunch and movies included in the price of the tour. WALLY is a human history book when giving details all along the way regarding every aspect of this tour. Would highly recommend SWEETours!!!

We were picked up from our hotel on the strip at 6:30 am. The bagged breakfast consisted of 2 muffins, an apple, banana, and juice. We changed buses in a parking lot and then went to Hoover Dam for a quick photo op. We then stopped at Kingman to fuel up and pick up a driver where we were given a boxed lunch with sandwiches that were preordered, then stopped in in Seligman which is a historic part of Route 66. After that we drove to the Grand Canyon National Park and had free time for 3 hours. There are free buses that take you to many viewpoints. We took a bus to one viewpoint and then walked along the rim walk for 2.6 miles. It was beautiful. We then got back on the bus and had only the one stop in Kingman on the way back. The bus drive was long, but our guide, Wally, was very informative and when he wasn’t providing information, he played informational videos on the way down and movies or shows on the way back. We were then dropped off at our hotel.

As others have mentioned this is a long day - but absolutely worth it. Scenery en-route is ever changing as you climb higher towards the canyon rim, stop-offs on the way and lots of great information from your driver will speed things along. Luana was a great driver and guide, and helped make this a memorable day out. The magnificent views have me thinking of doing the rim to rim hike next year...
