What To Expect

Grand Canyon South Rim

After arriving by bus at the Grand Canyon National Park's South Rim, your tour guide will brief you on the highlights of the Grand Canyon so you can make the most of your time here. You will have three (3) hours of free time to explore this wonder of the world at your own pace. Your deli-style lunch can be taken with you to enjoy at one of the lookout points.

First let me say, the length of the trip was daunting however the entire experience was just great! Well worth the time and money. Our driver, Walter, was wonderful and TRULY made the whole trip! He was funny, full of facts and information and little bits of trivia. He made us laugh and kept us on time (which I know is a big deal in the tourist business!) He talked enough to keep us from being bored on a long trip, provided appropriate videos and made sure we had food and lots of water. There were enough pit stops along the way we got to potty and stretch when we needed. Stopping at the Hoover Dam was great, the Route 66 stop was fun and a place to get snacks was good. There was enough time at the Canyon to get a taste of how humbling and breathtaking this natural wonder truly is. All in all this was wonderful and I would recommend this trip to everyone. PS Remember to ask for Walter!

Upfront be ready for a long and tiring day, but worth every $ for a memory of a lifetime. Walter our transportation specialist was entertaining, informative, but most importantly had our safety always first. Walter went out of his way to be sure we got the best bang for our time and money with some rest stops along the way, like old US Route 66, Hover Dam, and Arizona towns. Once at the South Rim those with limited walking ability had several options to make their trip enjoyable. We chose the Rim Trail and glad we did. The several hours we journed along the canyon rim is now documented in photos we can share for a lifetime. Your legs and bottom may be acke at the end, but that goes and the memories stay. Go for it and I hope Walter is in charge of your journey.

We took 17 family members on this tour from Vegas to the grand canyon. It was an amazing day!! The pick up is really early but you can relax on the bus. I was surprised at how awesome the box lunch was! Walter, our guide /bus driver made it a fantastic day!!
