We visited the Grand Canyon this past October and signed up for one of Canyon Dave's tours as a recommendation of our hotel concierge. While the tour guide seemed very nice, pleasant and helpful the van which we were picked up in was less than adequate. It was a 15 passenger van, packed with 15 adults. For $150 per person, I expected something a bit more comfortable than a prisoner-style van for an 8 hour tour. Being stuck in the 4th row of a van is less than comfortable. My recommendation is to conduct a self guided tour, you'll save some $$ and won't be lacking in leg room.

This was the best tour ever! It was an all day tour in a comfortable van with only one other couple so was very personalized. Thank you Richard for a wonderful job! You kept our interest up all day and the places you took us to in the Grand Canyon and Painted Desert were fabulous! Loved the food we had for lunch on the reservation, and I'm a picky eater. I would recommend this tour to anyone who visits the Grand Canyon South Rim, it is well worth it and the sites are unbelievable! Your guide is a wealth of knowledge and you will know everything you ever wanted to know about the site by the end of the visit. Five stars for sure!

Canyon dave's exceeded my expectations. Tour picked us up on the dot at our flagstaff hotel. We were taken to great spots in the canyon and enjoyed lunch on the indian reservation. Guide was extremely knowledgable about flora and flauna as well as geology of the area. Guide always was offering cool beverage or snack and would snap your picture willingly, focusing the shot so it turned out ok.
