The Park Service is limiting group sizes to 9, while we are not putting multiple groups in a van, which can mean we have limited availability. We encourage everyone to wear masks & it has been mandated for our guides by Coconino County.

What To Expect

Your tour starts from your Flagstaff hotel with morning pickup by a knowledgeable, informative local guide. Upon meeting your group, you will be regaled with stories of the geology and natural history explanations of how the Grand Canyon came to be.

Excellent tour, full great information about the Canyon....history, geology, botany and more! Our guide, Keaton, was exceptional and we loved all that we learned on our tour, The only negative comment is that Keaton forgot to add ice to the complimentary beverages, otherwise a great day, definitely got our money's worth!

Keaton was just great! There were 7 people on our tour including our 9 year old. We got to know our driver and our tour mates. Everyone was respectful of the fact that our 9 year old wasn’t vaccinated and our choice to continue to wear masks even though we, the parents are vaccinated. Many people did not wear masks at the canyon but masks were available if needed by the tour guide Keaton. The tour was an all day tour and Keaton was super knowledgeable and safe and the tour was very educational. The educational piece was important to me being a teacher for my daughter and this tour was perfect for that. The Navajo trading post at the end was a treat. They did require masks due to Covid-19, which is very understandable. We enjoyed shopping there as well. Overall our family had very memorable trip to see the Grand Canyon for the first time and the experience was priceless!
